NDC Stalwart Obofuo Sends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Urges Peace and Responsible Celebration

  A stalwart of the governing National Democratic Congress NDC Angel Yirenkyi popularly known as “Obofuo”, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the Nhyieso constituency and across Ghana as they celebrate Eid-ul-Adha. In his message, the Aspiring Constituency Chairman for Nhyieso for the NDC in the Ashanti Region described the occasion as a blessed day for reflection, sacrifice and unity among all Ghanaians. “As Muslims across Ghana and the world celebrate the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all our cherished Muslim brothers and sisters, especially the good people of Nhyiaeso Constituency,” he said.   The University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, USTED, has hosted its maiden International Conference on Education and Humanities, bringing together leading minds in the education sector from across the globe. The three-day event, which commenced on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, is being held under the theme “Building Sustainable Futures: The Role of Education, Humanities and TVET.”  It was organized by the Faculty of Education and Communication Sciences.   Renowned philanthropist Dr. Esther Okyere Gyebi, wife of contractor Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job, and her siblings have paid a glowing tribute to their late father, Mr. Teddy Moses Okyere, describing him as a man of selfless love and unwavering sacrifice. At the final funeral rites held in Atwima Koforidua, the children remembered Mr. Okyere as a father whose priority was always their welfare.  “Whiles growing up our father showed us nothing but genuine love. He made sure we were fed, protected, and even if it meant going to the moon to provide for us, our father Okyere will gladly do that for us,” they said in their tribute.
