Bono Police Officers Interdicted Over Viral Video Showing Alleged Bribe-Taking

The Bono Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into a viral video circulating on social media that captures some police officers allegedly extorting money from motorists.


In a press release issued on October 29, 2025, and posted on the Ghana Police Service’s official X page, the Command confirmed that the officers involved have been identified and subsequently interdicted to pave the way for a thorough and impartial investigation.


The statement further assured the public of the Police Administration’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability among its personnel.


The Command also urged the public to continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting discipline and trust within the service.

PTA Leads Bedbugs Fumigation Exercise at KTI Dormitories

  The Parent Teachers Association (PTA) of Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) has carried out a comprehensive bedbugs fumigation exercise in both the boys’ and girls’ dormitories to address a long-standing challenge affecting students. The exercise, undertaken to completely eradicate bedbugs, follows persistent complaints from students who have been disturbed by the insects during the night. The situation, according to school authorities, had begun to negatively affect students’ comfort, health, and academic performance.
