Stanbic Bank Ghana has over the years remained committed to advancing women in STEM education, encouraging more Ghanaian women to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programs through technical and financial support.

Every year, the bank brings together 300 female STEM students from 23 senior high schools for an intensive boot camp designed to equip them with practical skills and foundational knowledge in STEM.

The boot camp assembles some of the finest brains from Stanbic Bank, Women in STEM Ghana, and other industry leaders to nurture the next generation of female innovators and leaders.

Participants are exposed to coding, robotics, data science, and real-world problem-solving, while also receiving mentorship from women already thriving in STEM careers.

Understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility, Stanbic Bank has established a dedicated beneficiary community comprising predominantly young women.

The community is designed to foster mentorship, peer support.
